You are just a few clicks away from Filecamps Online Proofing & Approval toolset. The fast and easy way to manage feedback and approval of your artwork and creative projects.


Start Proofing

Navigate to a Proofing folder in your Filecamp account. Select a file in this folder and notice the little Proofing button in the Info column:

Press the Proofing button and the Proofing curtain will roll down with a thumbnail view of the file/pages. In the example below it's a 8-page pdf file.

1. Version control

As new versions are uploaded, previews of all old versions are archived and easily accessible. You can quickly toggle between previous versions of the file.

2. Open comments

Quick overview of all open comments for the entire document. Open comments means things that needs to be done.

3. New version

Upload new version of this file by clicking at the New version button.

4. History

Press the History button to open a complete log on all comments, new versions, proof status changes in chronological order. The History log can be printed out or saved as a pdf file and might come in handy when invoicing your customer for the time you have spent on the job.

5. Invite

Press the Invite button to launch your default e-mail application with a standard message and a direct link to this specific file. The recipient of the e-mail just needs to click on the link, log in and start reviewing and commenting.
Notice: You can invite anybody to participate in this Proofing process but they need to be a user with permission to this folder, in order to view and comment files in this folder.

1. Proofing status

Change Proofing status for this specific page. The labels and colours of the Proofing status are determined by the Proof Theme you have assigned to this folder.


2. Add comment

Click the "Add comment" button and click where you want to place a marker. When you have placed your marker the comments field expands and you can write your comment. When you have saved your comment it can't be edited.


3. Versions

As new versions are uploaded, previews of all old versions of the specific page are archived and easily accessible. You can quickly toggle between previous versions of the page/file.


4. Marker

When you click on a marker the corresponding Comment will highlight in the Comments column.


5. Comments

When you click on a comment the corresponding marker will highlight in the preview window.
