Filecamps Commenting and Proofing toolset operates with the same User types as anywhere else in your account. However there are some issues specific related to Commenting and Proofing.

How to give users access to Proofs?

The permissions follows the same Access Point structure from anywhere else in Filecamp. So you need to give your users access to the folder in which the files are located, in order to allow them to comment and annotate the files.
