Copy, duplicate, move, delete files

Files, and other items, can be easily copied, moved and deleted.


Move files

Moving files to another location is easy and can be done in three different ways:
1. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and simply drag and drop them in to another folder in the folder tree.
2. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, right-click and select “Move”. If you choose to move files you will be prompted to select a new destination.
3. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and press the “Move” icon_move button in the bottom of the window. If you choose to move files you will be prompted to select a new destination.

Copying files is easy and can be done in three different ways:
1. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and press the “Copy” icon_copy  button in the bottom of the window. Choose a destination.
2. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, right-click and select “Copy”. Choose a destination.
3. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and simply drag and drop them in to another folder in the folder tree, while holding down the Alt key on your keyboard

Duplicate files

Duplicating files is easy and can be done in two ways:
1. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and press the “Copy” icon_copy  button in the bottom of the window. Choose the same folder as the original file as destination, and the file will be duplicated with a “copy” after the filename.
2. Highlight (ctrl+click) the items, right-click and select “Copy”. Choose the same folder as the original file as destination, and the file will be duplicated with a “copy” after the filename.

Delete files and folders

To delete files, highlight (ctrl+click) the items, right-click and select “Delete”. Or highlight (ctrl+click) the items, and press the “Delete”  icon_delete button in the bottom of the window.
NOTICE: When you “delete” items, they’re actually not really deleted, they are moved to the Trash where they can be recovered.
