Uploading files

Filecamp has a build in HTML-5 uploader that allows the ease of drag and drop uploads and allows you to upload directly into subfolders. It´s that simple!

Upload (drag and drop)

You can drag and drop files from your computer directly into the Filecamp window.

When you start a upload process the upload curtain will roll down. In the upload curtain you can see the upload queue, follow the upload process and cancel specific uploads. You don’t have to wait until the all uploads are completed, just click the Hide” button and continue doing other things in your Filecamp account while files are uploaded.

Notice: Not all browsers support Drag and Drop upload yet.

Upload (the good old way)

Navigate to the folder you wish to upload files to. Click on the “Upload” button to browse your computer for files to upload. Once you have found the files, highlight them and click Open. This will make the upload curtain to roll down. In the upload curtain you can see the upload queue, follow the upload process and cancel specific uploads.

You can also follow the upload process in the lower left corner of your Filecamp account. Whenever you click on the upload button or on the Upload process bar the upload curtain will roll down again.

NOTICE: You can’t upload folders – only the files themselves, but you can select multiple files at once or use a select all (ctrl+a) key-command to upload a group of files at once. If you need to upload entire folder structures you can use Filecamps integrated FTP upload feature.
