Use Filecamps Mailing List feature for easy collaboration on files and folders.
Add users to mailing list (for admin Users only)
When you are logged in as an Admin level user you can add specific users to a Mailing List so that you can send emails to these users just by clicking on one button. Navigate to the folder and click the “User” button.
In the “User” curtain check/uncheck the Maling List checkboxes for the specific Users (or User Groups).
Send email to users on a mailing list (for admin Users only)
When you are logged in as an Admin Level user you can send an email to Maling List users just by clicking on the “User” button. In the “User” curtain click the “Send Email” button .
Send email to users on a mailing list (for other user types)
When you are logged in as an regular user (viewer, guest, user, superuser) you can send an email to Mailing List users just by clicking on the “Send Email” button .
This will launch your default email application with the Mailing List users as recipients and with a direct link to this specific folder.
NOTICE: If you are using an older version of Microsoft Outlook you might experience problems with our mailing list feature. This is because Microsoft Outlook does not recognize the comma as an e-mail address separator. Fortunately you can follow this guide from Microsoft to configure Outlook to recognize the comma as a valid e-mail address separator.
NOTICE: Filecamp supports deep-linking which means that when a user logs in via a direct link he will be directed in to the right folder.
