Uploading folders

Filecamp has a build in HTML-5 uploader that allows you to upload folders directly into Filecamp. It´s that simple!

Upload (drag and drop)

You can drag and drop entire folder structures from your computer directly into your Filecamp.

  1. Navigate to the folder you wish to upload to.
  2. Click the Upload  icon.
  3. Drag and drop the folder/folders you want to upload into the area surrounded by the dotted line.
  4. Click Done, when the upload process is done.

NOTICE: Not all browsers support folder uploads. If you can not see the Choose folder option your browser doesn't support folder upload.

Upload (using the File Browser)

  1. Navigate to the folder you wish to upload to.
  2. Click the Upload  icon.
  3. Click Upload Files or Upload Folders, depending on which you’d like to do.
  4. Select the file(s) or folder you’d like to upload.
Note: You can select multiple files for upload by holding the Command or Control key (Mac or Windows, respectively) while selecting files.
  5. Click Upload
  6. Click OK, GOT IT, when the upload process is done.

Notice: When uploading large and complex folder structures, you might have to adjust your computer's Energy Saver settings to prevent that your computer goes to sleep in the middle of an upload.

Uncheck the option "Put hard disk to sleep when possible". If your uploads are still interrupted increase the "Turn display off-time" to "Never" or the value you see fit.

NOTICE: Empty folders can not be uploaded via your browser. If you need to upload folder structures containing empty folders we recommend uploading via WebDAV.
